The fiberglass reinforced thermoplastic body of the UDH ensures that it can be used without fear of damaging the aluminum component or taking the paint off. It is also compatible with SRAM UDH Standard, and offers better durability than the original SRAM UDH model. Despite its durability, it is lightweight, weighing in at only 15g.

Installing the UDH hanger assembly is a simple process. Just rotate the UDH hanger forward until it is completely seated in the hanger pocket or contacts the rotational stop tab. Then, install the frame-specific UDH washer and bolt, tightening it to the specified torque. The UDH hanger bolt is left-hand threaded, and once installed, it provides perfect protection for your rear derailleur from chain slap, shifting slightly under impact, and improving switching performance and alignment.

The UDH is built to last, made from tough 6061 alloy and fiberglass reinforced thermoplastic for high strength and low weight. It also offers enhanced structural performance, surpassing the original SRAM UDH model in durability. We also offer replacement parts if needed.

In terms of compatibility, the UDH is compatible with frames that use a UDH hanger assembly, and it works with all brands of drivetrain, such as Shimano, Box, and Microshift. Additionally, it has a built-in safety feature that pivots back and out of the way to protect the frame and derailleur when the rear derailleur gets bashed on a rock.

The UDH also features a re-rail design to protect the derailleur against chain jams between the cassette and the frame, helping guide the chain back onto the cassette if it's coming off one of the smaller cogs towards the frame.
